Class 1A Finalists Set

Washington County rode a hat trick by Keith Koontz to defeat Montgomery Blair 5 - 1 in one Class 1A semifinal.  The Northstars, who are bidding to become repeat champions, outshot the Blazers 33 - 14.

In the other semifinal Queen Anne's County scored 4 times in the final stanza to defeat 2010 Class 1A champion Fallston, 5 - 1.  Queen Anne's rode Kade MacGregor's 3 point effort and netminder Payne Yoder's 37 saves to the victory.

The two teams will meet Monday February 27 at 5:00 PM at The Gardens, Ice House in Laurel, MD.  Admission is $5.00 with children under 7 free.
